Old driver on CD. After installing the software, under Devices and Printer, find the Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART device. Select device Properties/Hardware/Properties/Change settings/Driver and update the driver. Really good noise meters. Delivers up to ug.
The decibel meter works excellently in itself, is very sensitive and shows even the smallest background sounds. A small foot also works great. Not the meter itself, I'm very satisfied. Instead, I couldn't get the table to be installed on the computer to work. First of all, it was on cd, and my laptop no longer has a cd drive. I installed the drivers myself from the Internet. On the neighbor's computer, I transferred the table files (installer) to an external hard drive and installed on my own computer. Looked good but didn't work. Turned out it was for Windows 7 and I have Windows 10. No fixes have helped. So the whole device is now left as a torso - I can't save the readings anywhere, as was intended. I am really disappointed! Best regards, Kristiina Vesamaa

Professional very good for the moment to follow
Works as promised. With this experience (2 weeks) I dare to recommend it.
In my opinion, the measuring device has a good price-performance ratio, but the operating instructions are unfortunately poor and nothing detailed can be found online. I also couldn't find any instructions for the included software - not even a download, so I had to use an old computer with a CD drive - who still knows that? ;-) Otherwise it would have gotten full marks.
The instrument is developed to meet the requirements of noise class 2 according to IEC 61672: Type 2 and is ideally suited to measuring the noise level in workplaces.
The ticking of a clock: 20 dB; office: 50 dB; hoover: 75 dB; chain saw: 105 dB; lawn mower: 80 dB; aircraft on landing: 120 dB.
