The crane scale SBS-KW-300SW by Steinberg BASIC is an exact and precise tool for industrial work and craftsmanship as well as hunting and forestry. It is made from the robust and shatter-proof ASB thermoplastic, the shackle and s-shaped hook from stainless steel. The measuring range lies at a maximum of 300 kg with a reading accuracy of 100 g. You can choose between the units of kilogram, pound or newton. The crane scale SBS-KW-300SW possesses a high-definition LCD display with optional background lighting so you can easily read measuring results even in unfavourable lighting conditions. An indicator is shown on the display if the measuring range is exceeded or the battery is running low. Upon 4 minutes of inactivity the display is automatically turned off.

The product image is definitely completely misleading! It shows white writing on a black background, which was one of the reasons I bought! However, the product that was delivered has a completely normal display with black writing on a gray/blue glowing background! Furthermore, the display does NOT freeze when the load value is reached! This really pisses me off and I'm very disappointed. I wrote to support via their website before purchasing, but of course I didn't receive an answer! Hard to think about sending the whole thing back and buying a cheaper alternative!
