somehow the tare function is bad, every time the scale is started it tare automatically. when the carcass of the forerunner hangs, the automatic shutdown just turns off and then it resets, you have to remove the carcass if you want a real screen. could be user error but ....

The device arrived properly. There was a rattling sound inside and I had to open it. There was a loose metal cotter pin, probably intended for securing the screw of the shackle. While moving inside the device, the cog could have caused a short circuit and permanent damage. Carelessness?
