Individual and precise DC values
Thanks to the large LED display, you can easily read the set voltage and amperage values at any time. The digits are easy to read even in low-light conditions. In addition, the values are shown with their corresponding unit acronyms, clearly distinguishing between current voltage and amperage.
You can individually set the desired values for the output current on this benchtop power supply unit using the control dials. The dials allow you to make exact adjustments to the output voltage from 0 to 60 V and the output current from 0 to 5 A. During adjustment you can check the respective values on the large LED display. If the power supply unit operates as a constant voltage source (CV), the unit automatically switches to constant current mode (CA) as soon as the set load limit is reached. This prevents damage to the connected devices.
This benchtop power supply unit meets the highest standards of safety: The device is equipped with overload protection (OPP) as well as special overheat protection (OTP) which automatically activates an integrated fan as soon as the maximum temperature is exceeded. With this monitoring system, safe operation is guaranteed, even with intensive and ongoing use.

Recently purchased this laptop power supply, tested it with a multimeter and it produces exactly the correct voltage and voltage according to the display. minus point: low quality cable and crocodile clamps. Replace these for better quality. All in all I am satisfied with this lap food, good quality for the price.

The source works, the ripple is slightly better than a similarly priced switched source. It is problematic to set the voltage exactly. The setting of current and voltage with a connected load does not show adjusted values, but real values. The set voltage can only be seen if the current protection is not limiting. The adjustable current limit can only be seen in case of a larger load, for example a short circuit. The current limit setting is very roughly 0.3-5 A on less than one revolution. Current regulation reacts late. With a limit of 0.5A and a consumption of 0.75A, the reaction of the current limitation after more than one second. At a limit of 0.5A and a consumption of 3A, the current limitation reacts in 100ms.
