The compact plasma cutter with integrated compressor
The S-PLASMA 40 plasma cutter from Stamos Germany creates distortion-free cuts through conductive materials like steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, nickel, and aluminium. No need for an external compressor – this one has it built right in. With a cutting depth of up to 10 mm and a power output of 40 A, this tool is ideal for renovations and repairs in workshops or garages.
A dependable plasma cutter that's easy to use
For plasma cutting with compressed air, you can choose a cutting current of up to 40 A. At a 60% duty cycle, the plasma cutter reaches a maximum cutting current of 40 A. Lowering it to 34 A allows for continuous operation. The extended duty cycle is made possible by the device’s efficient cooling system. A built-in compressor makes this plasma cutter highly portable and eliminates the need for an external air supply. The air pressure is automatically regulated and maintained between 4 and 5 bar.
The user-friendly control panel makes it easy to adjust all settings required for plasma cutting. The ON/OFF switch powers both the compressor and the plasma cutter. Set the gas post-flow duration effortlessly using the toggle switch. Fine-tune the cutting current with ease via the rotary control. All buttons and controls are designed for effortless operation, even while wearing welding gloves.
Depending on the metal, a cut depth of 10 mm is possible. A 4 m-long cable ensures flexibility and ease of movement when cutting or grooving metal. The compressor's working pressure is automatically regulated, ensuring a stable cutting arc. After completing a cut, the gas continues to flow for 2.5 - 5 s. This keeps the nozzle in top condition by reducing heat stress.
The device features an overheating protection system indicated by an LED light. If overheating or a malfunction occurs, the device automatically powers off. The protection system also activates if the duty cycle of the selected amperage is exceeded.

Hello, I worked with the device for the first time today. I only want to use the device privately. Since I'm not a fan of operating instructions, I just started. I'm excited. I would like to design some fire barrels and various parts for the garden. Since I am a beginner, this is the right device for me. With the first fire barrel I realized that I still needed a lot of practice. Nevertheless, it was really fun to work with the device. I can only recommend this device for private use. It's great that I didn't have to buy an air compressor.

Used between 2mm and 10 mm. The most stable range is around 3 to 4mm. I received them by post so it says that they have passed but you have to pick up the package at the office. Bulky package, heavy and packaged with care. For my part, my package was upside down and open on one side of the cardboard. The plasma works well despite a hit to the front sheet metal due to transport.
