Product Description
To make a great Belgian waffle, the dough must be distributed evenly in to the waffle iron. Royal Caterings RCWM-1300-RE round waffle maker allows you to turn the waffle by hand, which facilitates that the dough reaches the edge of the baking plate. At the edge is an overflow protection, which holds the dough in the waffle iron, therefore preventing unnecessary waste and mess.
The round waffle maker prepares waffles with a diameter of 18 cm, 3 cm thickness and a 1.6 cm deep pattern, which is famous of the Belgian waffle. To make the large baking tray evenly filled with dough, you can turn the waffle iron to the left and right at an angle of 180 ° while baking. With the comfortable handle, the waffle iron can also be easily opened and closed.
Depending on the desired degree of crispiness/browning, a temperature range of 124 - 230 ° C can be set via the LED display. A control light will inform you once your desired temperature and power has been reached. In addition, the display has a timer with a time interval of 0 to 99 minutes, which indicates the exact time when the set time has elapsed. Also an alarm informs you of the end of the set baking time. With an output of 1300 watts, the desired baking temperature is achieved more quickly; therefore the waffles are baked golden brown in a short time.
The body of the round waffle maker is made of durable stainless steel which is easily cleaned. The baking plates are made of durable cast iron. The heat is distributed evenly during baking, which allows for the best baking results.

The mechanics of this type of waffle iron are very fragile; you often have to tighten the screws. Cable breaks also often occur there. Baking results are good, out of 5 irons from different manufacturers, 1 still works after 2 years. The devices from Royal Catering are just as good/bad as those from Bartscher, but cost €120 less.
