5 stars because the waffles are delicious regardless of the recipe (we tested 3 different recipes, dry and wet yeast) and different temperatures. It served a 15-person waffle party with a 5+. After reading the reviews I thought it was really that heavy (9 kg), but if someone has a planetary mixer, there is no difference in weight. What is missing in this version? Only crumb trays and dough spilling out of the waffle iron, but the design of the waffle iron is such that even if you overfill the waffle iron, 1 in 20 times something spilled out of it. I would definitely buy it again.

Make waffles easily, quickly, and professionally!
The housing of the waffle iron is made of robust and resilient Stainless steel and is equipped with aluminium alloy, teflon upper and lower baking plates. Both plates are electrically heated with an output of 1,500 W, enabling you to effectively prepare two 25 mm-thick waffles per baking process in the waffle maker.
The baking plates make it easy to remove the finished waffles. Their structure creates the traditional Belgian waffle pattern on the pastry. The integrated overflow protection prevents extra batter from soiling the Belgian waffle iron and makes it easier to clean afterward.
You can easily set the desired temperature using the automatic thermostat – the integrated automatic mechanism takes care of everything else for you. You can set the temperature from 50 - 300 °C depending on how browned you want your waffles. The baking time can be set between 1 - 5 min min with the timer function. This gives you optimum control over the preparation time for your waffles.
The heat-insulated handle guarantees safe use of the waffle maker. Additionally, the four rubber feet on the base plate ensure optimal stability on nearly any work surface and protect from scratches. I recommend a catering waffle iron. It has functions that meet my expectations, thanks to which my guests receive the highest quality waffles every time. Thanks to the variable temperature, I can set the waffles to be crispy and soft inside and melt in your mouth. The quick baking time allows you to serve the waffles "fresh" and at such a time that no one waits in line. I bought this to complement my existing waffle iron and I'm thrilled. Now I'll get a second one so that the very first one can act as a backup. The only thing I find unfortunate is the short running time of the timer. 5 minutes is not enough for my purposes and I will have to get a separate one.
