Anatomical model of the spine

The product was great. The sturdiness was surprising and the vertebrae were brilliantly exposed, illustrating everything as it should be. Really great.

Product Description

Spine Model with Pelvis PHY-SM-1

The life-sized spine model PHY-SM-1 with pelvis is designed to be used as a scientific teaching model, featuring an exceptional level of detail on a 1:1 scale. It is the perfect instructional model for educating and training chiropractors, midwives, medical students, physical therapists and acupuncturists. The standing model's realistic depiction of anatomical details makes it an excellent addition not only for schools, universities and other educational settings, but also for clinics, surgeries and laboratories.
This spine model accurately represents the essential features of each vertebra, including vertebral bodies, spinous and transverse processes, vertebral groove and vertebral canal. It also portrays the detailed structure of a vertebral artery, a slipped disc between L4 and L5 and a complete set of spinal nerves. Structures like the occipital bone, cervical vertebrae (atlas (C1), axis (C2), C3-C7 cervical vertebrae), thoracic vertebrae (Th1-Th12) and lumbar vertebrae (L1-L5), sacrum (S1), coccygeal vertebrae (S2) and the complete pelvis with moving and removable femoral heads, are also shown.
The basic structure of the spine model is made of high-quality steel, which enables you to demonstrate natural spinal movement in a life-like, flexible and illustrative way. With the spine model, you can vividly illustrate the development of various pathologies. Even moving the model helps to give you a feel for the special anatomical peculiarities of the spice.
This instructional aid is made of high-quality hard PVC with a high tensile strength. The special plastic gives a realistic representation of the surface structure of a spine and is easy to clean. The light-weight spine model is flexible and easy to move around. It belongs in the standard equipment for every orthopaedic surgery.

Accurate anatomy, here and there imprecise execution

Anatomically accurate, easy-to-use model. There are one or two errors on my piece: the small joints of the L5 vertebra and sacrum do not match each other in size, so L5 does not fit into place properly. In addition, when gluing the screw of the left femur, the nut was also glued onto it, which is thus impossible to remove, the screw came out of the femur, and the nut remained on top. Despite the small flaws, it works well for me.
