The MSW magnetic drill is a true powerhouse! It doesn’t matter if you’re working vertically or horizontally. The powerful electromagnetic base holds the machine securely in place. The machine is suited for drilling, countersinking, tapping, and ring boring – making it ideal for industrial and commercial metalworking.
When drilling, one thing counts above all else: power. This 1680 W magnetic core drill leaves the competition in the dust. Adjust the speed continuously up to 395 rpm. For thread cutting, the reverse drive function is a key feature. This prevents damage to new threads when retracting the tap. Make all adjustments on the user-friendly control panel.
This power tool is designed for precision and ease of use. You can adjust drilling depth smoothly via the three-arm rotary control. The 0 - 165 mm stroke range provides extreme versatility when working. The integrated spirit level keeps your alignment perfectly straight. Achieving precise 90° angles is no longer a challenge with this drill.
The MSW core drill also features an integrated coolant tank. Basic tasks require only 0.3 l of tap water in the tank. Use specialised coolant or cutting oil for tougher drilling jobs. This extends the drill bit lifespan and reduces maintenance needs.
Safety is paramount with MSW magnetic drills. With a maximum magnetic force of 18000 N – nearly 2 tonnes – it can work on thinner materials. The included safety strap offers additional security. It helps avoid injuries and protects the workpiece in case of a power cut.
Another valuable safety feature is the RCD magnetic switch. After a power loss or disconnection, the motor won’t start if accidentally switched on. Only when the magnetic switch is engaged can the motor restart.
The combination of accessories is a testament to experience and expertise that goes into the design of the MSW magnetic core drill. The delivery includes a drill chuck for shanks up to 16 mm, a coolant tank, spare carbon brushes, an MK3 holder / 19 mm Weldon shank, fuses, assembly tools, and other useful accessories. The goods arrived in good order and very quickly. The quality corresponds to the price. The tax document was issued absolutely incorrectly. Despite the fact that the buyer is from another EU member state (Slovakia) and the customer's VAT number is on the invoice (Slovak), the invoice was issued with a German VAT number and the VAT amount was, of course, calculated. With an invoice issued in this way, the customer cannot deduct VAT, and VAT is also a non-tax expense. The invoice should have included the VAT of both the supplier and the customer, but the VAT should not have been calculated. The amount should have been without VAT. The customer self-taxes the delivery in his country.

I am satisfied with the device, it has enough power, I have so far drilled around 20 holes (19mm diameter) in iron supports (8mm depth) and 12 holes, also 19mm diameter, in a 20mm steel plate. If something gets serious, you just have to make sure there is enough cooling so that the drill doesn't get too hot, but as I said, the motor is really powerful. The only small drawback was if you want to drill really quickly and there is a lot of feed, the device lifts off a bit, so the magnet could be a little stronger.
