The MSW magnetic drill is a true powerhouse! It doesn’t matter if you’re working vertically or horizontally. The powerful electromagnetic base holds the machine securely in place. The machine is suited for drilling, countersinking, tapping, and ring boring – making it ideal for industrial and commercial metalworking.
When drilling, one thing counts above all else: power. This 1300 W magnetic core drill leaves the competition in the dust. Adjust the speed continuously up to 475 rpm. For thread cutting, the reverse drive function is a key feature. This prevents damage to new threads when retracting the tap. Make all adjustments on the user-friendly control panel.
This power tool is designed for precision and ease of use. You can adjust drilling depth smoothly via the three-arm rotary control. The 0 - 175 mm stroke range provides extreme versatility when working. The integrated spirit level keeps your alignment perfectly straight. Achieving precise 90° angles is no longer a challenge with this drill.
The MSW core drill also features an integrated coolant tank. Basic tasks require only 0.3 l of tap water in the tank. Use specialised coolant or cutting oil for tougher drilling jobs. This extends the drill bit lifespan and reduces maintenance needs.
Safety is paramount with MSW magnetic drills. With a maximum magnetic force of 18000 N – nearly 2 tonnes – it can work on thinner materials. The included safety strap offers additional security. It helps avoid injuries and protects the workpiece in case of a power cut.
Another valuable safety feature is the RCD magnetic switch. After a power loss or disconnection, the motor won’t start if accidentally switched on. Only when the magnetic switch is engaged can the motor restart.
The combination of accessories is a testament to experience and expertise that goes into the design of the MSW magnetic core drill. The package includes a drill chuck for shafts up to 16 mm, a coolant tank, spare carbon brushes, fuses, assembly tools, and other useful accessories.
