Heavy Duty Battery Charger - 6/12 V - 5/8 A
A powerful charging capacity and easy operation are the excellent properties of the heavy-duty battery charger S-Charger-10A from MSW. Be it in the commercial or private sector, this battery charger is a cost-effective device, which pays off with its remarkably long shelf life. Because regular maintaining the battery power can substantially increase the usage time of the batteries in your motorcycle, car or other type of automobile.
The charging process for lead-acid batteries is controlled with a capacity of 12 to 92 Ah over two practical toggles: 6 or 12 V, as well as MIN or MAX. MIN for normally discharged batteries, MAX for deep discharged batteries at the lower limit. The levels MIN or MAX have you prepared for any charging situation, whether the battery is only weakened by many short drives or if it is almost discharged by power-consuming extras such as disc or seat heaters.
During normal operations, 6-V- and 12-V- batteries quickly and reliably receive their full energy performance with a charging current of up to 8 A Considering its power, the battery charger remains very moderate in terms of energy use, with a maximum of 0.4 kW Particularly practical: The car battery does not have to be removed in order to be loading – a connection to a power cable and a weather-proofed space in a garage or hall suffices.
Since both the power cable and the charging one are solidly built in the casing, you can be sure not to lose them, even on a busy day at the workshop. Likewise, the cooling system with ventilation slots is very helpful, as it keeps the device at safe temperatures even during continuous operation. This way, short circuits or dangerous flying sparks are kept at bay thanks to the built-in fuse.
The analogue display, clearly visible during the charging, keeps you informed about the charging current until the battery has been recharged. The carrying handle, compact dimensions and a total weight of only 4 kg means that the battery charger is mobile and requires only a minimum of space.

I have used the charger directly after receipt, and it functions as described, sees good and robust out. There should be an indicator (Led) that shows the product is on, and also an indicator that shows when the battery is fully charged. But for this price one cannot have everything!

Ideally change mains plug for 13A UK, (EU Shuko useless anyway!)built heavily and strongly-the packing box is a work of art!Ideally, the charge leads would be 1m longer...Delivery a bit slow, worth the waitcf Ring 320 charger/starter

when the battery is charged how do you know other models have a light

This charger seems to be doing very well so far. I regret that there is not a green light which signals power on like on my old charger. You must look at the amp meter needle to ensure that the device is charging. I still want to be satisfied with the packaging in a very sturdy box. THANKS
