Battery Isolator Switch - 12 - 60 V - 275 A
Over time, the electrical components in your caravan or boat slowly but surely drain the power from your supply battery. Especially when the vehicle is left to sit on land or in the water and the battery isn't recharged by the engine for long periods of time, the power circuit should be interrupted during these down times. The battery isolator switch from MSW easily and effectively interrupts the voltage and protects the battery.
The battery isolator switch is designed for a continuous load of 275 A and is ideal for small power supply systems in boats, caravans and other vehicles that draw their power supply from a car battery. With a starting current of 1,250 A and a peak load of 350 A, it can handle even higher loads without problems.
The battery switch has a range of 12 to 60 V and can be used for numerous electrical systems. It can even be combined with additional switches. The contact terminals are 10 mm and are made of high-quality tin-plate copper for optimum conductivity and corrosion resistance.
The isolator switch is equipped with a spark protection which makes it safe for use with vehicles operated with a petrol engine. In addition to the "On" and "Off" positions, the knob can also be turned to a 45° angle and removed to protect it from unauthorised use.
The marine battery switch is very simple to assemble. You can screw it to any smooth surface using the four mounting holes. Three sides of the durable plastic housing can be opened if needed to connect the cable for the power circuit. The housing provides plenty of protection even in maritime environments.
