Already bought the second retractor. The first for a rectangular pool with a pipe edge of 2.70 mx 4.60 m. The attachment was very simple and stable. Attaching the roll-up straps to the eyelets of the summer sheet. Rolling up was good, you just had to guide the sheet a bit by hand so that it rolled up nicely. But absolutely no problem. The second was for an octagonal pool of 4 m with wooden walls of 1.20 m high. The roll-up device therefore had to be set up outside the pool, on 2 stands with square aluminum tubes and a brace against the ground and against the roll-up direction. The straps were attached to the summer sheet with the clips. Since the latter is octagonal, the drawstrings on the sloping sides are of different lengths and the attachment to the roll-up tube had to be determined through tests. The distance from band to band is not the same on the sides as in the middle. But once determined, rolling it up is the same as with the rectangular pool. Definitely a very good product.

After it was clear that this retractor was not suitable for my pool and the time for the normal return had already passed, I was still able to send the retractor back after a very nice conversation with customer service, thank you very much again for that

The shaft does not seem to be particularly stable considering its length of 5 m. I hope that the plastic bearings and the aluminum shaft will last a long time if used carefully.

This retractor is too light for my pool, which is 9.25 m long and 4 m wide. My solar film is so heavy that the poles bent when I rolled it up. I had the feeling it would break through at any moment. It's OK for a normal film.

Not so bad for the price, but the clips that hold the film are not really suitable because the closure keeps coming open
