Plössl Eyepiece - Ø 10 mm - focal length 12.5 mm

Every telescope is only as good as the eyepiece you've placed in the eyepiece holder. The Plössl eyepiece, the first pure-colour microscope and telescope eyepiece in history, has been proven in astronomy for decades and offers you very sharp images not only in the central field of view, but right up to the edges. With its four lenses in two lens groups, this Plössl lens summons bright, clear and high-contrast images in the eye of the observer. This effect is enhanced by the multiple coating of the lenses.

With a viewing angle of 50°, the apparent field of view is larger than comparable products from other manufacturers and prevents restricted tunnel vision. Rather, it lets you see many objects in their full size and eliminates the need to move the telescope back and forth. This allows you to focus fully on your fascinating observations and not on positioning the telescope.

The symmetrical eyepiece measures 10 mm in diameter and is equipped with a custom-fit eyecup made of soft rubber which protects against stray light from the sides as well as preventing scratches on glasses. The surface of the telescope eyepiece is black to block light reflections. Depending on requirements, a moon or fog filter can also be screwed into the filter thread.
