The package scale allows you to precisely weigh packages and other goods with which you trade every day. The package scale complies with the regulations for trade. This is confirmed by the quality mark M. It is already calibrated and gauged at delivery. The calibration holds for two years after first use, but should again be certified by an authorised person, depending on national regulations. Only then does the scale receive its calibration sticker. After two years, the scale can be re-calibrated at the Weights and Measures Department. You will also receive a declaration of conformity, which you should keep with the scale and a plaque indicating the year of its calibration. This is the basis for legally determining the weight for goods offered for sale.

The precision of the scale depends on the maximum weight you want to weigh. The platform scale by TEM has two measuring ranges, which increases accuracy when weighing lighter objects. Up to 60 kg can be measured with a maximum deviation of 20 g, for objects of up to 150 kg, the deviation can be up to 50 g. The calibration, which must be renewed after two years, ensures that the deviation is not exceeded.

The weighing surface is made from robust, anti-static coated carbon steel. Since it is open on all sides, even larger objects exceeding the area of ​​60 x 50 cm can be weighed. The non-slip feet ensure a safe horizontal position.

The measured values ​​are displayed on a modern LCD display, which is attached to the weighing surface. The digits on the display are large and clearly legible. For consistently perfect visibility there is an adjustable backlight.

The clearly designed control panel is easy to use. There are five buttons to control the required basic functions: Operation, backlighting, taring, measuring range and zeroing. The control panel is protected by a transparent cover.

The display of the scale is powered by a battery, so that you can also use it on the go. It has a battery life of up to 100 hours and an amazing endurance. To charge the battery as needed, the display shows the current battery charge. Due to its compact dimensions and carrying handle, the device can be easily stored and transported.

The shipping scale has an RS 232 interface that allows you to connect it to a computer or cash register. Different communication protocols are available for data transfer, such as DIALOG 06, TEM, TISA or DELTA.

The scale construction is extremely resilient due to high-quality materials, for the highest quality. The display case is made of sturdy ABS plastic, and the weighing platform is made of durable, coated carbon steel. The longevity of the device is therefore guaranteed.
