Perfect for hobby perfumery with excellent value for money
Shipping was quick, the goods are safely packed in styrofoam. The scale is easy to use and the operating instructions are easy to understand. After extensive testing, the repeatability error for me is around +/-0.003g - which is really excellent for the price (and that with a maximum weight of 200g!). This makes the precision scale perfect for hobby perfumery. There is also a wind shield, but in my study, when the fan is not on, the scale is completely sufficient. Important note: This, like all other precision scales, needs a solid surface. If you have a cheap (slightly flexible) table top from Ikea and rest your elbow on the table when using a pipette, there can be very significant fluctuations in weight, so: hold your arm in the air when weighing precisely (uncomfortable), use a very solid surface such as a solid wood table, or get a second table for the scale and put it next to the main table, on which you can then rest your elbow (works perfectly for me). But as I said - this is not a specific problem of this precision scale, but a property that all ultra-accurate precision scales will have due to their weighing mechanism. I am very pleased that I was able to find a precision scale with such properties for such a price. Clearly recommended for hobby perfumers!

The precision scale SBS-LW-200N provides particularly accurate measurement results. It has a maximum weighing capacity of 200 g and an accuracy of 0.001 g. The scale is therefore ideal for when high accuracy is required. The fine scale is perfectly suited for laboratories as well as for catering or industrial companies. The counting of materials or the accurate weighing of ingredients are child's play from now on. The scale has already been calibrated. No additional adjustments are required, and the scale is immediately ready for use. The Steinberg range contains high-quality industrial supplies and precise scales for all areas of application.
The scale has a round weighing platform with a diameter of 9 cm, made of high-quality stainless steel. It can also even be used for weighing moist and wet products. The stainless steel guarantees hygienic cleanliness and is easy to clean.
In a fast-paced environment, you will receive accurate weighing results in next to no time. The scale displays the results immediately. The display reacts quickly, even when the scale has been reset to zero. The integrated LED display has red lights with 18 mm digits for better readability from every angle, even in the dark.
The electronic scale has various practical functions. The Tare function determines the net weight of an object without packaging material. The PCS function allows you to count individual objects (25, 50, 75 or 100 pieces). When the automatic zero correction is activated, the scale indicates a stable zero point, for example when the room temperature changes.
The removable windscreen protects the weighed objects against contamination. This protection also improves the quality of your weighing results. The scale has an overload warning which informs you via an acoustic signal and a symbol on the display when the weighing range is exceeded. In addition, the keyboard is water and grease resistant. - Reception with a well-protected package. - Fast delivery. - Fluidity and clarity during purchase, until receipt. - I bought a white scale, and I received a gray scale. I received 20% compensation for this. - There is no instructions. There is a booklet, in several languages, which refers to the instructions by a symbolic code. However, this is insufficient. For a specific purchase like this, the instructions would have been welcome. What's more, a first-time user guide would have been appreciated. In 10-step, enough to ensure the first use without difficulty. - When I received the scale, I was surprised and disappointed. Because the mounting feet are fixed. They are not adjustable. And the disappointment is due to the lack of information and precision of the announcement. There is a whole site dedicated to purchasing, and I can't figure out whether or not the feet are attached or not. - Very poor quality windbreaker plastics. I don't know if it's intentional, but the dimensions of the windbreaker base do not correspond to the dimensions of the scale. So that it is difficult to use. - Disappointed upon receipt because the device does not run on batteries. And it's not explicitly mentioned in the ad. The Expondo site sells hundreds of scales. This is not a complementary item offered for sale on the site. It would really be a plus to be able to read that the feet are fixed, and that the scale does not accept batteries. For someone new to this type of item, this information would be valuable to allow the choice between different ranges of scales, depending on their price and their characteristics. - Real-life photographs would be really appreciated. Especially since the photographs which allowed me to acquire this article were non-contractual. Since I bought a scale at 0.001g. And that the sales photographs indicated a scale per gram. And that's not normal. It doesn't help in any case. - Presence of an electrical switch on the back of the scale. Positively surprised because once again, this was not mentioned in the ad. - The usefulness of a 100-gram tare weight. - There is no protection house. And it's really negligible. Because it is not even possible to order one separately. - You should plan to purchase the Steinberg-systems spoon kit if the balance is used with its windbreaker. - Total precision regarding weighing. There is nothing to say.
