The pet scale from Steinberg Systems is ideal for uncomplicated weighing of cats, dogs and other animals. Thanks to the anti-slip mat and the integrated animal mode, the weight of the four-legged friends can be determined precisely. With a capacity of 180 kg and an accuracy of 50 g, this model is perfect as a small animal scale in veterinary practices, breeding farms or private households; but can also be used as a floor scale in industry and trade.
Digital animal scale with external LCD display
The almost ground-level, 96.5 x 51 cm weighing surface made of robust plastic (ABS) with non-slip mat simplifies the weighing of even restless animals. An integrated animal mode reliably compensates for inaccuracies caused by movements. Thanks to its slim design, the floor scale does not take up more space than absolutely necessary. The external cable-connected LCD display with backlight and a hold function make it easy to read the readings. With this veterinary scale, you can display the measurement result in either kg or lb.
The platform scale shows off its energy-saving properties in battery operation with a long runtime. It switches off automatically when not in use. To reactivate the scale, simply tap the platform with your foot.

The scale arrived quickly, neatly packaged and with no signs of use. All details correspond to the technical data that was provided in advance. There was one small deviation in the scope of delivery: a power supply was included instead of batteries, but of course I'm fine with that! The instruction in the manual to calibrate the scale when using it for the first time is a little confusing. If you follow the step-by-step instructions for this process, you will eventually have to put a weight of exactly 150 kg on the scale. I don't have a calibration weight like that to hand and couldn't move it! I stopped the process at that point and put a new packet of sugar on the scale. Since exactly 1 kg was displayed, I assume that the calibration had already been carried out at the factory. So - all good!

Unfortunately, restarting with foot pressure does not work and it is not clear how this can be activated. In addition, the scale recently cost 100 francs more. A SHAME, A SHAME But maybe the problem can be solved?
