A sturdy base is just as important in this respect as the flexible operation of the gripper arms and rings. The laboratory stand SBS-LS-600 from Steinberg Systems is the ideal laboratory accessory to complement your laboratory supplies.
Flexible laboratory equipment with three clamps and three rings
The laboratory stand set consists of a stable 210 x 130 mm cast iron base, a galvanised iron rod, six fixed boss heads made of coated aluminium, two stainless steel clamps, a coated aluminium burette clamp and three iron rings with holders measuring 60 / 80 / 100 mm. A plastic coaster completes the set.
With its dimensions of 600 x 10, the stand rod of the laboratory stand also offers plenty of leeway in terms of height. The boss heads, as a mounting for the gripper arms, can be securely attached to rods with a diameter of up to 138 mm and provide reliable support.
The various clamps and rings are an ideal fit for the retort stand and can securely hold most items or containers used in a lab. The coating reacts insensitively to chemical liquids and at the same time prevents slipping. The special shape of the gripping arm is also good for glass containers, whether test tubes or Erlenmeyer flasks.

It is very inexpensive to make, but can be combined in many ways and serves its purpose well. I just see that it is now €10 cheaper than when I bought it. That's how it should be.
