Product Description

Lightweight, sturdy and precise-the 50 ml laboratory beaker

The laboratory beaker SBS-LA-13 from Steinberg Systems' diverse industrial equipment line is the robust, affordable and safe alternative to glass. This lightweight lab beaker is a must-have wherever there is something to measure or a sample to take in research, industry and education.

The right measure without glass—the robust plastic measuring beaker

The transparent jug has an imprinted and very easy-to-read scale on the side with a division into 5 ml increments. Thanks to the thermoplastic material, the measuring cup is resistant to aqueous solutions of inorganic salts and almost all inorganic acids and bases, even in high concentrations and at temperatures above 60 °C. Polypropylene is only attacked at room temperature by oxidising chemicals such as chlorosulfonic acid, oleum, concentrated nitric acid and halogens. The 50 ml measuring cup can even withstand temperatures of up to 100 °C without any problems, but it must not be placed on a hot cooking plate.
In addition, the stable polypropylene prevents dangerous shattering or bursting while working with the laboratory beaker, as can be a risk with glass beakers. So you don't have to worry about shattering even when it comes time to clean the beaker. The practical narrow spout allows you to precisely portion the contents of the graduated beaker.
