The floor scale for packages, animals and other large loads

The floor scale SBS-PS-300 from Steinberg Systems can be put to use anywhere you need to weigh heavy objects without picking them up too far off the floor. With its 300 kg capacity and an accuracy to within 100 g, this scale is perfect for use in warehouses, wholesale, industry or in the trades. Thanks to the anti-slip mat and an integrated animal mode, you can even precisely determine the weight of animals. The floor scale comes already calibrated, so you don't need to make any additional adjustments and can start using it right away. Even very heavy warehouse objects sitting on the floor are easy to lift onto the scale and weigh.

Weigh heavy loads with the floor scale—right where you need it

The 95 x 50 cm weighing surface provides plenty of space for even larger objects, while its sleek design ensures that the scale does not take up any more space than necessary and makes it easier to load heavy weights. The anti-slip mat enables you to weigh even restless animals. The feet of the industrial scale can be adjusted in height to compensate for uneven floors.
The control panel with display is externally connected to the weighing platform with a cable so that it can be flexibly adapted to the respective measuring situation. The scale's energy-efficient characteristics include a battery mode with a duration of up to 30 h. The low-battery alarm prevents the scale from turning off while it is in use. The scale shuts down after 120 s of inactivity to save energy.
About the functions: The Tare, Zero and Unit Change functions cover every relevant warehouse process, including preparation for shipment. The Animal mode compensates for movements when measuring animals weighing up to 300 kg. The individual settings enable the flexible use of numerous weighing technologies.
The backlit LCD display makes it easy to read the measurement values in poorly-lit surroundings like warehouses or storerooms. An RS-232 interface is integrated into the external control panel with which you can transfer the gathered data to your computer. The floor scale allows you to display the measurement results in kg, lb or oz. A warning appears if the scale is overloaded by 150 %.

Very good scale!

Very good scale! I use it to weigh myself in my wheelchair. It shows the weight precisely. Very fair price. The scale is easy to store thanks to the wheels and the low height. The relatively low weight and the integrated battery mean that it can also be used on the move. I find the external display with the easy-to-read numbers very practical. I don't need the strong-smelling rubber pad.
