Coating Thickness Gauge - 0 to 2,000 µm - ±3 % + 2 µm

The paint thickness gauge precisely measures the thickness of paint on metals with an accuracy of  ±3 % + 2 μm（≤ 3000μm) . Get excellent results thanks to the generous measuring range of 0 to 2,000 μm, and not only for automotive paints. The device also has a very large memory for 2,000 measured values. You can choose between two different modes for your measurements: While the first mode determines the values via magnet, the second uses eddy current to check other materials. The coating thickness meter also has a practical V-groove which makes measurements on round bodies such as axles, hinges, fenders and spoilers much easier.

All measurement parameters are clearly shown on the LCD display with optional backlighting so that you can always monitor them even in dark environments. An acoustic signal sounds when measuring. Operating the device is easy via the intuitive buttons. After finishing your measurements, connect the paint thickness meter to your PC or laptop with the supplied mini-USB cable to evaluate the data. You can calibrate the device using the various calibration discs according to the detailed description in the manual.

The housing has rubberised sides to ensure that the device sits securely and without slipping in the hand. Thanks to the materials used and the sophisticated construction, the coating thickness gauge can withstand high temperatures up to 50 °C as well as between 20 and 90 % humidity. When the device is not in use or you have an appointment with a customer, simply store it safely and securely in the included carrying case.
