Digital Letter Scale - 10 kg / 0.5 g - Basic
The letter scale SBS-LW-10/500 by Steinberg BASIC was designed for the daily use in offices. With a solid plastic housing and a 21.7 x 17.7 cm stainless steel weighing platform, it can quickly and precisely weigh small loads. In addition to a range of useful features, this scale offers six different weighing units (g, kg, lb, oz, ct and tl). With the TARE function, you can measure the weight of an object without packaging, while the the PSC function enables you to count individual objects (in samples of 25, 50, 75 or 100 pieces). The maximum weighing range goes up to 10 kg with an accuracy of 0.5 g, ideal for letters or books.
Thanks to the weighing range from 1.5 g to 10 kg, the digital scale is ideal for determining low shipping weights. With a readability of 0.5 g, the weight of parcels and postal items is measured with pinpoint accuracy. In addition, various functions and different measuring units characterize the flexible device.

Super good weight that copes with the tasks it is given. It stays on for a good and long period, so you don't have to rush, but also has an automatic switch off if you forget.

The scale is suitable for weighing semi-finished products for making homemade soaps. It is large enough that you can place a large pot on it, pour a lot of water, and it will not collapse. It has a bright and large display, which unfortunately works with a slight delay, but you just need to wait a while after pouring the product into the container. It is mains powered, so I save on batteries. It fits in a kitchen cabinet and is very light. My favorite.

Very precise and reliable, it has an accuracy of 0.5 g, it is very simple and practical to use and, crucially, it always gives the same result when weighing the same object several times. It can run on batteries (supplied) or with a 6 volt power supply (not supplied). An excellent product.

For now I can only list the advantages, I just got it so I can't evaluate the durability but having a 3 year warranty I hope it's solid. It arrived with the display and weighing surface covered in protective adhesive plastic. Bright and easy to read display even for a short-sighted person, slightly protruding and well-spaced keys. The Tare function is very convenient and allows you to go negative if you take something from a full container. It is obviously larger than a normal kitchen scale, in the photo I have put a 1 kg package of dog food which fits comfortably. Quick and PRECISE weighing!!! Here's the best part, by weighing the same item 3 times I had 3 times the same weight! Never happened before with "normal" kitchen scales. It can weigh from 2 g to 10 kg with a scan of 1/2 gram, which is useful for example if you need to weigh very small quantities of salt or yeast. No defects found or suggestions to make to the manufacturer!
