The Soldering Station S-LS-17 by Stamos Soldering is distinguished by easy handling in combination with highest soldering comfort. It was designed especially for repair work ind industrial businesses, manufacturing firms or hobby electricians. Thanks to the handle for transport it is portable and space saving. Of course the Soldering Stations by Stamos are ESD safe! The base unit functions as the power supply and offers all needed functions and connections. Additionally it is equipped with two LED displays for monitoring the temperature of both soldering iron and hot air gun. Thanks to the integrated voltmeter you can instantly check your soldering results. Moreover the soldering station S-LS-17 is equipped with a side rack for holding the hot air gun.
The 650 watt hot air gut is suitable for soldering and de-soldering of surface mount devices (SOIC, CHIP, QFP, PLCC, BGA, SMD) with the hot air technique. The integrated heating element guarantees an efficient transfer of heat.
The powerful 75 watt soldering iron enables the production of durable mechanical connections. Thanks to the integrated heating element an ideal temperature transfer is ensured and the heat is directly guided to the soldering tip. The handy design and low weight make precise and comfortable working easily possible. The rack with dry sponge additionally serves for cleaning the soldering tips.

Fast delivery, well packaged. I just received the set and used the hot air station straight away. Temperature and air flow can be adjusted very precisely. Really advantageous, especially at the temperature for SMD soldering. I really like the automatic switch-off when you insert the hot air device into its holder (installation was no problem). When removed, it heats up very quickly to the set temperature. Accessories ok, especially the different soldering tips. The included tweezers were a big help to me. I think the soldering iron will also serve its purpose. Base with main switch and separate switches for hot air and soldering iron, ok display and control buttons easy to use. Overall, the set makes a valuable impression. Just right for my purposes.

I have had the device for a year and it is in use almost every day. I am very satisfied with it, it does what it is supposed to do. What you need to take into account is a shorter power cord and enough space around it. The hot air gun's melting tip is really hot even after being put away. Accessories great and sufficient....
