There is some confusion in the descriptions of the kettle between the versions with an enamelled interior and raw cast iron. The raw cast iron kettle has to be installed first... (although the documented instructions talk about enamel) but it's really easy. Rub everything with linseed oil and heat it up. Then you have a nice, neatly cast hunting kettle in a size suitable for everyday use that stands well on its feet. Without the feet it even fits in a normal stove and is therefore very versatile. I also like the modern, smooth design without any frills or strange ornaments or even advertising.
The cast iron Dutch Oven is your new all-rounder! Boil, bake and fry in one pot. Whether camping or barbecuing, in the catering trade or privately - the rustic cast iron pot has everything you need for cooking: Lid, suspension, 3 stable feet to braise over hot coals.
Soups and stews turn out just as well in the classic fire pot as meat and egg dishes. With the cast-iron lid, you keep the heat in the pot for a long time and ensure even heat distribution.
Enjoy the taste of times past, avoid the risks. You can easily move the Dutch oven with 4 l volume from A to B using the sturdy, long carrying handle. The pot stands securely on its sturdy legs. In addition, the legs provide sufficient distance from the ground to slide hot coals under the pot - ideal for cooking in the open air,
.Another advantage: once burnt in, the fire pot is absolutely easy to clean and maintain. Only if the patina comes off, burn it in again and thus increase the longevity of the pot. To do this, add oil to the pan and heat until it starts to steam. then wipe away the remaining oil with a cloth. The more often you use the grill pot, the better it will be - and of course the dishes prepared in it!
