The bain-marie works with the convection principle: a heating element heats the water between the device and the GN containers and transfers the heat to the containers. This allows you to not only effectively heat even delicate dishes, but also to keep them warm over a long period of time without the risk of burning.
The heating container is particularly impressive because of its large filling volume. The 6 GN containers (GN 1/6) with lids hold a large amount of food that can be heated or kept warm at the same time. This can save you a lot of time, which is particularly advantageous when you are preparing food for large events or during peak times in restaurants, canteens or hotels. In addition, other GN container sizes can be used in the bain-marie and combined with one another.
The efficient 600 W heating element rapidly heats the water to the desired temperature. The control knob activates the automatic thermostat, which enables precise temperature control between 30 - 80 °C. This bain-marie also has a drain tap, which makes filling, emptying and cleaning easier.
The bain-marie combines sophisticated design and a resilient casing into a reliable and low-maintenance product. The high-quality stainless steel construction is very durable and resistant to corrosion. The material is harmless to human health and easy to clean because of the smooth surfaces, making it especially hygienic. Stainless steel also has excellent wear and impact resistance. Rubber feet ensure stability and prevent scratches to the work surface.
