It can be used in shipyards, sailing schools or workshops, as it can cut through many different kinds of synthetic materials, such as ropes, straps, cords, canvas, sailcloth and other materials.

The heat cutting tool melts the material at the cut surface and thereby ensures a perfectly clean cut. Before cutting, the tip of the blade is heated to the desired temperature and effortlessly glides through rope, Styrofoam or other meltable materials, leaving clean edges.

In combination with the type R blade (PBT-HNRB90), the blade ensures the best and most precise cutting results. Exchanging them goes quickly and easily. The ends of the ropes or cords are welded while being cut, so that they won’t fall apart. By melting the ends, fringing is conveniently avoided.
