The junction box with surge protection for PV systems from MSW protects solar modules, inverters, and electrical devices from high voltages -in the event of direct or nearby lightning strikes, for example. Simultaneously optimise your solar power system and ensure efficient energy generation. To achieve this, the solar junction box features 4 separate inputs, letting you effortlessly manage and protect 4 strings. Simply install the plug-and-play junction box between the solar system and inverter. The simple wall mounting and the transparent viewing window make it easier for you to regularly check and maintain the PV junction box.
Lightning protection for PV system with input voltages up to 1000 V
Im Inneren des Gehäuses aus ABS mit der Schutzklasse IP65 nutzen Sie übersichtlich angeordnet je zwei separat zugängliche Bereiche (PV1 und PV2):
- 4 fuses (direct current / 1000 V / 15 - 32 A),
- 3 surge protectors (DC / 1000 V / 40 kA) and
- Disconnector (direct current / 1000 V),
to connect or disconnect and protect the strings of your PV system. Thanks to the clamp connections and the cable channels integrated into the sides, you can quickly and easily activate the overvoltage protection for your PV system.
All elements of the junction box with PV overvoltage protection are made of high-quality materials and comply with current regulations, such as the IEC/EN 60947-3 design standard, CE, CB, and TÜV-tested (German Technical Inspection Association) fuses as well as type 2 overvoltage protection in accordance with EN 50539-11.
