The lightweight but powerful hot knife cutter from MSW
With the cutting tip type R, the hot cutter MSW-ISU-M60W dependably slices through ropes and strings. Additionally, it cleanly slices through other synthetic materials like sailcloth or webbing, providing a neat cutting edge. For shipyards, sailing schools, or artisanal workshops that work with different ropes or fabrics, the hot knife is an invaluable tool.
Clean cuts up to 30 mm
The hot cutting device melts the material at the interface to create a precise cut. The provided R-blade is heated to the necessary cutting temperature just before use, effortlessly cutting through ropes, styrofoam, and other easily melting materials, leaving clean edges. Ropes and cables are welded at the ends when cut to prevent them from coming apart.
The maximum cutting temperature of the power tool is 500°C, with the powerful transformer ensuring rapid heating within seconds. However, you do not have to worry about overheating: its built-in overheat protection switches off the device as soon as the electric components reach 90°. This foam cutter boasts a ergonomic one-hand handle and a generous 3m cable for flexibility. Furthermore, the professional device is exceptionally compact and lightweight, boasting a convenient hanging hook for instances when you need both hands to handle larger fabrics or ropes. At the touch of a button, the hot knife is immediately ready for use.
