If you work with metal, MSW is the perfect addition to your workshop - with the combined belt sander and pipe notcher. Whether you are notching pipes, deburring work pieces or polishing surfaces, with the stationary belt grinder and notcher you can complete a wide range of metal work in no time at all. The combination sander is extremely robust and will fit into any professional metal workshop.
Depending on the type of metal and shape of your work piece, you can select one of the two speeds to achieve optimum sanding results. The motor has a power of 2500 or 3300 W which can achieve rotation speeds of 1400. 2800 rpm. Sand and polish with varying intensity at a belt speed of 17 or 35 m/min. The belt grinder is suitable for all common metals. For the abrasive belt, use a belt with the standard size 100 x 2000 mm, which you can clamp in no time with the quick-clamping system and change depending on the metal work.
For small pieces of metal, use the grinding surface directly on the roller. A cover protects you from sparks in this position. For larger work pieces or even surfaces, fold open the cover where you can grind and polish from above on the continuous grinding surface. The residue collects in a container during grinding.
The combination unit of a belt grinder and pipe notcher is impressive with its low-vibration operation. You can achieve an optimal working position by tilting the machine up or down directly on the base. For your safety, the belt grinder is equipped with an emergency stop switch.
With the powerful pipe notcher, you can work on square and round pipes easily and conveniently. The machine creates notches in work pieces that are made many types of materials and with varying thicknesses. Thanks to the quick-change holder, you can change the sanding rollers in no time at all and without tools. There are holders for 8 sanding rollers on the unit. This means you will always have the right roll at hand. Your work pieces sit completely slip-proof in the robust clamping jaws.
