If you consider what you would have to pay for a Granberg Alaskan Mill winch system you would buy one of these. I was shocked at prices for these in the UK and in the USA. I found these at a fantastic price on Expondo and thought they were too good to be true. I ordered one thinking it was worth a punt. Expondo were very good with keeping me informed of where the parcel was at all times and it turned up very quickly considering that it was dispatched from Poland for delivery here in the UK. I have to say that it looks as if it’s made in the same factory as the Granberg system. The quality is spot on. Thanks to everyone at Expondo and to GLS for an outstanding delivery service; very professional and polished service; what more could you ask for?

Sensibly expand your mobile sawmill and cut boards from a tree trunk even more precisely with the winch system from hillvert. You can attach the winch to the tree trunk or sawmill in just a few steps. It is easy to use and achieves flawless results with a steady hand.
The winch system guides your chainsaw with mobile sawmill safely through the wood
The winch system consists of a pole, a rope and a hand crank. Attach the pole to one end of the tree trunk and use it to attach the 12 m long rope of the winch. On the other side, mount the hand crank on the mobile sawmill in which the chainsaw is clamped. Use the hand crank to shorten the length of the rope while evenly pulling the sawmill with chainsaw through the tree trunk. Make sure that you always apply enough tension to the winch cable. The result is precisely cut boards that you can now process flawlessly.
