The desired moisture level of the soil can be set on the soil moisture sensor to three different levels, selectable between 25 %, 45 % or 60 %. If the moisture level of the earth is above the set level, the moisture sensor sends a signal to the irrigation controller. The signal ensures that the next watering cycle is skipped so that the soil does not get too wet. The garden hygrometer thus helps to create an efficient watering method that not only saves water but also protects plants from overwatering.

The measuring process of the humidity sensor repeats periodically every 60 s. This short measuring frequency always ensures up-to-date and precise measurement results. This way, the sensor supports the optimal care and watering of all plants. In addition, a weatherproof cable connecting to the sensor control unit ensures perfect functionality even in open outdoor areas.

The soil humidity sensor is quick and easy to operate thanks to the integrated LED display. The desired humidity level can be selected by pressing the corresponding button and is accompanied by an illuminated LED light as a signal. Each push button has its own LED indicator so that the active setting can be seen at a glance. If no further input is made within the next minute, the light goes out and the setting made has been safely saved.
