The guide rail consists of two sections that you connect together up to a total length of 2.1 m. Use three cross-connections to attach the rail to the curved outer surface of the tree trunk. Thanks to its low weight, the aluminium construction is effortless to handle. Once the rail is set up, it clearly dictates the cut you make with your mobile sawmill. You only need the guide rail for the first cut, after that the cut surface forms the basis for all the other boards you cut from the trunk.
