Very good composter so far no problems

3 February 2022 review for 480l Hillvert brand lower base 90x90 cm upper approx. 68xcm68 cm, approx. 82cm high. 2 sliding guillotine doors for the collection of mature compost, which can be mounted opposite each other or laterally next to each other 'other. it is better to place it on an iron mesh that is not too fine, to avoid invasions of animals coming from the ground on which the composter must rest, animals that hunt for earthworms that will process the waste introduced. It must be placed flat and anchored with 8 plastic pegs supplied, or similar system. The upper cover is divided into two halves with a hole on each half and in correspondence between them which would allow it to be closed with a small padlock. (the padlock can however be bypassed by disengaging one of the two covers from the appropriate mounting seats, as they are quite loose in the hinge slots, but it visually discourages unwanted introductions by third parties). The instructions indicate that it must be positioned in the shade, I believe to prevent the sun's rays from damaging the plastic. The ventilation fins are all around on each side and certainly allow abundant oxygenation for the health and work of the earthworms.

It seems functional but light and so we have to see how it will age.
