Use the queen bee cups in your apiary to create an ideal place for the queen bee's egg to develop. Place the container in the incubator and your queen bee will optimally lay the egg directly into the cup. If a larva has hatched from the egg, relocate the larva.
The white beakers are made of non-toxic plastic that specifically meets the requirements in a beekeeping facility. Measuring 16 x 19 mm, they are the optimal size to accommodate a queen bee egg and allow it to develop until the larva hatches. You attach the queen bees directly to a breeding frame (item number 10280270), which you can also get from Wiesenfield, using the plug on the underside. Alternatively, they are placed directly in the queen's breeding box. Once the egg has been laid in the cup, the first step towards successful beekeeping has been taken.
