Product Description

Obstetric aid made of hygienic stainless steel

Do your cows and heifers need help calving? Then combine your expertise with the Wiesenfield calving aid to bring your calves safely into the world. In case of complications during birth, offer mechanical assistance with the practical calving jack to avoid stillbirths and severe injuries.

Wiesenfield's calving jack protects cow and calf

Using the birthing assistant eases the delivery for cow and calf alike, especially in case of larger calves or an awkward positioning in the birth canal. To do this, wrap the included ropes around the calf's fetlocks and slowly pull it out of the birth canal during labour. This works whether the cow is lying down or standing up.
The obstetric aid made of hygienic stainless steel is designed so that the pulling force is evenly distributed across the rods and cords. The ratchet mechanism prevents the linkage from slipping. In the event of difficulties, you can unlock the mechanism quickly and easily.
