Fast delivery, good quality, everything OK.
Peru's previous reviews of the Green Paviljon, It was my own fault that the roof was leaking. It keeps raining. Otherwise, it's time for the Hepponen Paviljonki.
I'm writing down my first impression of the pergola here. After looking at a few pergolas and reading the reviews, I consciously decided on this model, which is slightly more expensive than the comparison models. The delivery was very quick and after unpacking all the parts that were specified in the description were there. Assembly: I would deduct half a star here, simply because the assembly instructions are something for puzzle kings. Although all parts and the order are described, the drawings are simply terrible and there is no further description apart from the drawings themselves. In addition, a whole range of different screw lengths are used, some of which only differ by a few millimeters in length. All screws and other small assembly parts are stored in a bag - loose! First of all, that means sorting small parts carefully. Otherwise it happens to someone like me that screws are screwed in with the wrong length and ultimately have to be removed again, simply because you didn't really look closely. Annoying! Luckily it only happens once. If everything is set up properly, you have peace and quiet.Material:Good! All parts seem robust. What particularly caught my attention is the coating. Even when screwing in the screws, with some of the surface being "scraped" from time to time, it remains intact without revealing the metal underneath. There is therefore little risk of rust. The coating seems quite thick to me. I've seen something else. Covers: Good! Robust material with its own coating. The first impression is really ok. It remains to be seen whether the material will remain this way throughout the summer. I'll report back. Overall impression after assembly: Very good. My wife and I really enjoyed it, even if the setup was a bit annoying because of the poor description. Overall, it makes a valuable and solid impression. The part has significantly improved our garden. As I told my wife, the "fun factor" in our garden has increased significantly. It remains to be seen whether we will still be as enthusiastic in a year. But so far - great. No regrets about purchasing.
Top in terms of delivery. The package arrived 2 days after ordering. All parts were checked, everything was present and all the small parts were delivered packaged and assigned. Can't be better. We haven't set up yet because the weather doesn't allow it yet. We'd love to come back to it again soon. But first of all...thank you for the quick service.
First things first. It was a nightmare building this. It all seemed pretty straight forward but you are going to have to put one of the pieces in upside down and have one bit non-symmetrical with the rest. When you put the round top bit of the roof together it appears very straight forward. There are two types of pieces to put together, one is labelled 3 one is labelled 4. One edge of each is curved to fit against the leg pole, the other edge is straight where you fit 3 and 4 together, there's a little circle feature and a bracket for the roof poles in the middle of 3 and 4. Except .... when you get to the last piece it doesn't work, it's out of symmetry. I spent over an hour trying to work out where I had gone wrong but gave up in the end and just placed the last piece upside down., Thankfully it didn't affect the rest of the build in any way. The roof still goes on and the curtains can still hang and slide fine. It just took a ridiculous amount of time to build what is a basic enough structure because of this confusion. I have included pictures which will make sense to anyone else attempting to build one.It came in two boxes, one box had all the signs of it being repackaged, it looked like it had been a 2nd or a return. The other box was fine all the contents looked new and untouched. One of the pieces was bent, see my attached pictures. My guess is someone had it before me and had their head fried with the upside down piece issue and sent i back after being careless and bending one piece. It's a nice gazebo, it's a sun awning the roof isn't waterproof, it rained on it's first outing and heavy rain will come through as a mist with the occasional drip. I'm going to buy waterproofer and treat the roof to make it drier underneath. The gazebo is made from sturdy metal but it's not very stable freestanding so you'll need to make use of the para-cord lines and ground pegs. Our's is on decking so the legs are screwed down and I've run the para-cord from the top to surrounding fencing and it is stable. The gazebo is for occasional use but it's not something you can take apart store and then put back up in a hurry. I'm going to see if I can buy new roof material for the future and the gazebo will have to go up start of the summer and then down at the end, the roof material can be removed easy enough and stored when it's not going to be in use for a while to save it from the weather and bird mess. It's a nice gazebo and for the price I am happy with it, it fits my decking area and around our hot tub perfectly but it requires a bit of time for that first build and will need looked after well for it to last more than a couple of years.
Yes, the gazebo comes with all the required assembly pieces.
