Product Description

Protect your plants in a Uniprodo cold frame

The Uniprodo cold frame serves multiple purposes: whether you're germinating tomatoes, herbs, or flowers, or planting your salad earlier in the year, the cold frame offers the necessary protection for your plants. Whether it's cold or wet, you can create an optimal climate in which your plants can thrive!

Kick-start the gardening season early with a cold frame

The cold frame is made of transparent, 4mm thick plastic walls and two covers, which form a protective, cold-repellent shell around your plants. A weather-resistant, durable aluminium frame provides shelter and stability. Within the cold frame greenhouse, your plants receive ample light for growth while still being protected from UV radiation. Maintain an optimal climate by ventilating the interior of the cold frame as required, either by lifting one or both covers slightly and securing them with two fasteners.

With the cold frame, you kickstart the gardening season ahead of time, nurturing plants in colder weather before transplanting them into the garden or greenhouse. Sow the first vegetables as early as February and water them according to the plant's specific needs. This method enables you to obtain rich harvests of lettuce, kohlrabi, radishes, or herbs 4 weeks ahead of schedule! Young plants are also protected from pests like slugs or snails in the cold frame. Our tip: Place the cold frame in a sunny spot and fix it to the ground with pegs. This way, you harness sunlight to create an ideal climate for germination and growth.
