Long-lasting and safe: Two alcohol burners with long burn time
The handy alcohol burner from Steinberg Systems' industrial equipment collection combines a long burn time with high safety. Developed especially for professional use, this model is ideal for use in research institutions, universities, or laboratories. The alcohol burner is also an excellent choice in science lessons or for your own experiments.
The efficient laboratory equipment from Steinberg Systems
The lamp uses spirit as fuel. With a capacity of 0.2 L, the alcohol lamp impresses with a burn time of 1.5-2 h. The burner is stable thanks to the extra-wide base. The included cap enables you to safely extinguish the open flame. The application is therefore very safe and simple, which also makes the spirit lamp ideal for use in schools.
The stainless steel spirit burner is not only especially durable and resilient against external influences, but is also safer to use than glass models. The included protective cap also ensures that the flame is extinguished in accordance with the application. The required wick is also included in delivery – the only thing you need to purchase in addition is the liquid fuel.
Note on safely using the alcohol lamp
The burner must never burn until all the spirit has been used up! The fuel must be refilled in good time. To do this, extinguish the flame using the protective cap provided (do not blow it out) and wait until the burner has cooled down to room temperature. During operation, the spirit burner must stand securely in an upright position. It must not be tilted or shaken, otherwise the liquid fuel could escape and ignite uncontrollably.
