Plasma Cutter - 125 A - 400 V - pilot arc
The plasma cutter S-Plasma 125H from Stamos Selection has plenty of power reserves for cutting through thick metallic materials using air plasma. Performance and handling are designed for high work efficiency, as required in professional metalworking. The plasma cutter is equally at home in automotive workshops and in metalworking businesses and industrial production. But even do-it-yourselfers with demanding projects appreciate the cutting power of the S-Plasma 125H.
The plasma cutter from Stamos Selection is designed for a professional work environment in which work progress and high-quality results count. It operates with a 400 V three-phase operating voltage and cuts workpieces from a wide variety of metallic materials. These include low and high-alloy tool steels as well as the non-ferrous metals aluminium, copper and titanium.
With a cutting depth of 34 mm, the plasma cutter is equipped for demanding repair and renovation tasks as well as for efficient use in production. Material loss is kept to a minimum with a cutting width of only 1.4 mm. The high performance is made possible by the particularly reliable IGBT inverter technology.
At a duty cycle of 60 percent, the cutting current is 125 A. At 100 percent duty cycle, a high 96.8 A is still possible. With an operating range between 10 and 125 A, the Stamos provides the necessary flexibility in the selection of the cutting current. The pilot ignition works contact-free and extremely reliable. The compressed air for plasma cutting is adjusted via a pressure reducer. The external compressor can be selected according to requirements and conditions. This makes the unit very flexible and easy to transport.
However, high equipment performance alone is by no means sufficient for efficient work. With its 5 m long plasma hose in connection with the 3 m long ground cable, the Stamos offers a high degree of freedom of movement. This allows you to work continuously even in a larger working radius without problems.
In order to achieve the maximum working progress for each task, the Stamos offers two different working modes. In 2-stroke mode, the torch will run for as long as the power switch is pressed. In 4-stroke mode, a single tap is sufficient to activate the burner and another tap to switch it off. This mode provides countless advantages for continuous operation. The handle position on the torch can be varied during work to reduce fatigue and physical strain.
To prevent damage to the torch or deformation of the workpiece and oxidation reactions after the cut, the air cooling continues to run afterward. The post-flow interval can be selected between 5 and 60 s in several steps. The power unit is protected against damage by fan cooling and overheating protection.
Problems with the operating temperature as well as other malfunctions are indicated by an LED on the control unit. The LED display for the cutting current and the cutting current controller are also located in this clearly visible space on the front of the unit. With a product weight of 33.9 kilograms, the plasma cutter has sufficient mass to maintain safe footing even in a rugged working environment.
