The plasma cutter S-PLASMA 125CNC from Stamos Germany is specially designed for professional use with CNC machines. It has plenty of power reserves for cutting through thick metallic materials using air plasma. The plasma cutter impresses with special features such as a powder-coated sheet steel housing, high efficiency and first-class cutting quality.
The plasma cutter from Stamos Selection works with a 400 V three-phase operating voltage and cuts workpieces from a wide variety of metallic materials. These include low and high-alloy tool steels as well as the non-ferrous metals aluminium, copper and titanium. The professional plasma cutter S-PLASMA 125CNC offers you a wide range of features and outstanding characteristics that make it perfect for use in various CNC applications.
With a cutting depth of 34 mm, the plasma cutter is equipped for demanding repair and renovation tasks as well as for efficient use in production. Material loss is kept to a minimum with a cutting width of only 1.4 mm. The high performance is made possible by the particularly reliable IGBT inverter technology. Due to the modern design inside the CNC plasma cutter, disturbances such as interference of the high-frequency high-pressure arc are avoided or reduced. For this reason, this plasma cutter is particularly impressive in combination with a CNC machine and thus forms the perfect synergy.
At a duty cycle of 60 % the cutting current is 125 A. At 100 percent duty cycle a high 96.8 A is still possible. With a working range between 10 and 125 A the Stamos provides the necessary flexibility in the choice of cutting current. The pilot ignition works contact-free and extremely reliable. The professional plasma cutter S-PLASMA 125CNC offers you a wide range of features and outstanding characteristics that make it perfect for use in various CNC applications.
However, high equipment performance alone is by no means sufficient for efficient work. With its 5 m long plasma hose in connection with the 4 m long ground cable, the Stamos plasma cutter offers a high degree of freedom of movement. You can also choose between 2T and 4T mode to adapt the cutting torch to your work situation.
To prevent damage to the torch or deformation of the workpiece and oxidation reactions after the cut, the air cooling continues to run afterward. The post-flow interval can be selected between 5 and 60 s in several steps. The power unit is protected against damage by fan cooling and overheating protection.
Problems with the operating temperature as well as other malfunctions are indicated by an LED on the control unit. The LED display for the cutting current and the cutting current controller are also located in this clearly visible space on the front of the unit.

Is the plasma cutter easy to transport?
Despite its compaction size, the device weighs 33.9 kg, so we recommend using a welding trolley to transport it. You can also find a selection of welding trolleys at expondo.
How does the device inform me when it's threatening to overheat?
A diode lights up as soon as the maximum duty cycle is exceeded and the device heats up too much as a result. The light will also warn you if the plasma cutter generates too much heat due to malfunction. In both cases, the operation should be interrupted.
