Combined Welder - TIG 180 A - CUT 50 A - MMA - PRO
Count on quality and maximum mobility with the combined welder S-MULTI 51P from the Stamos Pro Series. With the 3-in-1 welder, you can reliably weld and cut metals. This enables you to carry out a variety of metalworking tasks with just one device. The TIG and MMA welding methods are available for welding, for cutting you can use a plasma cutter with up to 50 amperes.
The combined welder reaches up to 180 A with a duty cycle of 60 percent when welding. If the power is reduced to 139 A, the duty cycle can be increased to the point where you can weld without interruption. Also with a duty cycle of 60 percent you can cut metals with 50 amps; for longer cutting jobs you would have to reduce the cutting current to 38.5 amps.
The welding machine is equipped with 8 metre-long cables and cable assemblies. Due to its unique length, the device offers maximum freedom of movement during welding. The convenient handle also ensures additional mobility when using the device.
The TIG welding method is available for welding with shielding gas, with which you can achieve particularly clean weld seams. You can select a gas post-flow time of 2.5 or 5 seconds using a rocker switch. You can weld almost all metals and their alloys starting from 0.5 millimetres, including magnesium, copper, nickel, titanium and steel. In practice, you can weld in a variety of positions: You can maintain control over all welding functions whether you're welding lying down, overhead, vertical or horizontal.
The welding machine shows its high technical standards right from the start. The high-frequency ignition (HF) for TIG welding and plasma cutting guarantees a reliable start for the arc, meaning that ignition happens without contact with the workpiece. And thanks to the proven MOSFET technology, the welding machine achieves an energy efficiency of 93 percent. This stable power supply is, among other things, a guarantee for excellent welding quality.
With a cutting depth of 16 mm, the plasma cutter is equipped for demanding repair and renovation tasks as well as for efficient use in production. With an air pressure of 4.5 bar, it achieves a stable plasma arc that produces high-quality cuts.
No additional gas is required for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding, enabling you to use it outdoors even in strong wind. With this welding method, the welder generates a very stable current, all the while securely maintaining the voltage. As a result, very good welding results are achieved with a variety of metals from a workpiece thickness of 1.5 millimetres.
The hot start function on the electrode welder ensures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current at the start of the welding process. Thanks to this “hot start”, the starting point is immediately heated to the optimal temperature and the electrodes do not clog. This creates a clean, stable weld from the very first moment.
The device is equipped with an overheat protection. The warning light lights up if the duty cycle is exceeded and the device is becoming overheated, or in the event of a sudden malfunction. The air cooling also provides additional safety during operation.
