Professional electrode welding machine with practical welding angle

The electrode welder S-MMA-250PI.2 with cutting-edge IGBT inverter technology from Stamos Germany is an especially powerful MMA welding machine with up to 250 A. Thanks to its high performance and extra-long 8 m-long cable, this welding machine is perfect for welding in workshops or production halls, as well as for mobile use for outdoor repair and maintenance work. The two magnetic welding holders included in the set help to precisely connect workpieces.

More flexibility with the electrode welding machine from the Pro series

With a duty cycle of 60 percent, the welding current has a maximum power of 250 A. If you turn the power down to 194 A, then you can weld at just under 200 A without interruption. You can comfortably and steplessly adjust the welding current between 20 and 250 A, clearly shown on the LED display, with a convenient control dial. With its high performance, the welder can even weld thicker metals up to 10 mm quickly and precisely.
The MMA welder is equipped with 8 m-long MMA and grounding cables. The unique range of the welding cable gives the device maximum flexibility while welding. The MMA welding clamp can grasp even large electrodes with a diameter of up to 5 mm. With the MMA welder, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper from 1.5 to 10 mm thick.
The hot start function on the electrode welder ensures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current at the start of the welding process. This ensures that the electrode doesn't stick and creates a clean, stable weld from the very first moment.
The air cooling system and overheat protection provide this device with long-lasting reliability and durability. The comfortable shoulder strap and light weight ensure additional mobility.

Problem-free work thanks to free hands

The magnetic welding holders SWG-MWH-S are specially designed for use on metal elements and ensure a strong magnetic connection between the individual components without having to hold them. The robust magnetic welding angles can be attached at different angles (45°, 90°, 135°) and thus serve as optimal support for metal parts up to 11 kg during welding. The welding holders are equipped with a solid steel cover, guaranteeing durability. The set includes two holders.

It works but not as it should

The welding machine arrived in a nice box but it was not packaged very well, one grid was detached and it also seemed already used, however I used it intensively this first month and it works well but, up to thicknesses of 3/4 mm and 2.5 electrodes /3mm, with larger thicknesses and 3.5 and 4 electrodes it doesn't weld well, annoyed I tried it by measuring the output amperage and compared to that shown on the display it is completely different and lower. It is given for 250A but at most it reaches 160A, a shame given the gap. Now I have contacted support who are trying to resolve it but it is still an inconvenience because I can't stay without the welding machine for long and I will have to buy another one. On a positive note, the cables are of high quality, on a negative note, I didn't receive the magnets.
