How do I know what size ladder I need?
Determining the correct ladder size requires you to consider various criteria. It's important to remember that: • Unsecured leaning ladders should only be ascended to the fourth-highest rung to avoid causing the ladder to slip, • Standing ladders that can be climbed from either side should only be ascended to the third-highest rung to ensure that you have sufficient grip, • Standing ladders with attached extendable ladders (multi-purpose ladders) should only be ascended to the fifth-highest rung, • The length of standing ladders with platforms should be chosen so that the user does not have to stretch out on the platform while working, • When using a leaning ladder to reach a high place with no other hand grips, the ladder's length should exceed the height by at least 1 metre.
