|Model: MSW-DRAIN CLEAN 7.6
I was able to compare this device with a cheaper one: high-quality workmanship, haptic and visually solid, therefore relatively heavy, but fits perfectly in the hand thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle. But the very special thing is the head of the device: It has three tumblers, one with a screw to lock it. This causes the spiral to wind back and forth helically. It is precisely this feature that makes this device special: the crank movement always remains under control and works slowly but sustainably. Of course, after dismantling the siphon, you can push the spiral by hand until there is resistance and then work with the crank. With the other device you could also clamp the spiral with a simple screw, but the movement was not as controllable and therefore under control. The handle slipped back and forth and didn't provide a good grip. I therefore think the relatively high price is justified. It is a device for the craftsman and the ambitious do-it-yourselfer. (if you buy cheap, you buy twice...) Note: The spiral is not brass colored, probably hot-dip galvanized like all the others.

A little more expensive than the others but seems more robust and qualitative, the head fits well even in a garden hose, the spring behind seems robust. Not used with a drill (over a long length this seems difficult to manage with the elasticity and the return torque)
