Product Description

Heavy Duty Battery Charger - Jump Starter - 12/24 V - 20/30 A

A powerful charging capacity and the reliable jump-start function are the excellent properties of the heavy-duty battery charger S-CHARGER-50A from MSW. This charger is used in workshops, in the commercial sector, in agriculture as well as for private users. The regular recharging of the car battery inside the vehicle significantly extends its service life.
The car battery charger has a reliable jump start with a maximum amperage of 130 A, to start up gasoline and diesel engines. Cars, as well as vans, trucks and tractors can be started with an empty battery without prior charging. The instant jump start allows for the dynamo inside the vehicle to recharge the lead-acid battery by itself.
The charging process for lead-acid batteries with a capacity of 20 to 300 Ah is controlled by two practical toggle switches: 12 or 24 V and MIN or MAX. MIN is the default setting for averagely discharged batteries, MAX is switched to for very heavily discharged batteries. Depending on whether the battery is only weakened by a lot of short trips or is almost discharged due to power-guzzling extras such as window or seat heating, you are prepared for every charging situation with the MIN or MAX levels. Before charging, always check that your battery meets the recommended battery capacity.
During normal operations, 12-V- and 24-V batteries quickly and reliably receive their full energy performance with a charging current of up to 30 A. Considering its power, the battery charger remains very moderate in terms of energy use, with a maximum of 1.7 kW. Particularly practical: The car battery does not have to be removed in order to be loading – a connection to a power cable and a weather-proofed space in a garage or hall suffices.
Since both the power cable and the charging one are solidly built in the casing, you can be sure not to lose them, even on a busy day at the workshop. Likewise, the cooling system with ventilation slots is very helpful, as it keeps the device at safe temperatures even during continuous operation. This way, short circuits or dangerous flying sparks are kept at bay thanks to the built-in fuse.
The analogue display, clearly visible during the charging, keeps you informed about the charging current until the battery has been recharged. The carrying handle, compact dimensions and a total weight of only 8.5 kg means that the battery charger is mobile and requires only a minimum of space.
