Core Drilling Machine - 2.880 Watt - 1.200 rpm
The core drilling machine MSW-DDM152 from MSW reliably drills holes in hard construction materials such as concrete, masonry or asphalt. All its power reserves are ready to efficiently carry out large-caliber drilling up to a diameter of 152 mm. Thanks to the integrated water cooling system, device works with optimal working parameters and has increased drill durability. The integrated residual current protection circuit provides protection for both the user and the drilling device.
On a construction site, time is money. Accordingly, there are high requirements when it comes to the devices you use. The core drilling machine from MSW provides generous power reserves of 2.880 W for core drilling, maximum speed of 1.200 rpm, up to 152 mm of maximum drilling diameter.
The drill with stand masters everything from holes in concrete to reinforced concrete, cement, masonry, asphalt and stone. You can drill holes both horizontally and vertically, depending on your needs. When it comes to horizontal holes and especially when high stability is needed, the included anchor conveniently ensures maximum adhesion to floors and walls.
Diamond drills can be used for a diameter of up to 152 mm. To protect the diamond drills from burning out, the device has been equipped with a water cooling system with half inch connector. An inlet hose with a length of 3 meters is also included. This way, not only is the diamond drill bit's durability guaranteed, but also the device's high efficiency. Additional external cooling measures are thus superfluous.
Drilling in a material-suitable way is possible thanks to the stand's precise guiding. The generous stroke length of 51 cm allows you to drill deeply even in widely different materials. The drill is guided by a sliding lever, by means of which the force applied to the spindle and the diamond drill can be precisely metered. For maximum flexibility when working, the lever can be mounted on both sides of the core drill.
Apart from the use as a stand device, this core drilling machine can also be removed from the stand and used as a hand drill. To support this, an on/off switch was mounted on the handle with a motor blockade that allows it to work without the need to press the button. Furthermore, the drill is also fitted with a comfortable scapular piston which enables the user to use additional power on the device when dealing with more difficult drills. As a result, this model is better than similar products when it comes to places that are narrower or more difficult to reach. Another noteworthy advantage is the general power cable, more than 3 meters long.
The equally portable and compact power pack is reliably operated via the bracket on the revolution trigger. The engine revolution trigger is also easy to use with the thumbs. The residual current protection circuit (PRCD – Portable Residual Current Device) integrated in the cable provides accident protection for the users as well as the drill. Should there be a short circuit in the drill or cable areas, the operation immediately ceases. The device is also fitted with an overload protection which has to be activated by the user via a switch positioned on the side in cases of overload.
While a significant amount of electrical appliances can only be maintained in a specialist workshop, replacing the carbon brushes is entirely unproblematic with this device. Easy access is ensured by means of two easily removable, colour-coded covers. Spare carbon brushes are included, as well as an assembly tool, handles, materials for anchoring the stand and a 3 meters long water hose as a connector for the cooling.
