How to make chocolate from cocoa?

You will need:
- 100g of butter (about 2/5 of a standard 250g block),
- 1 glass of whole milk,
- 3-4 tablespoons of dark cocoa,
- 2/3 of a cup of sugar, or less (can also be replaced with xylitol or honey)
- 200g of powdered milk
If you want to spice up your chocolate with nuts or dried fruits, remember that you can add your favourite additions to the above list, for example raisins, cranberries, crushed nuts or almonds.
Preparation:
- Boil a glass of milk in a small saucepan. Add 100g of butter and stir until melted.
- Pour in 2/3 of a cup of sugar and 3 or 4 tablespoons of cocoa. Stir until a dark brown liquid with a smooth consistency is formed.
- Pour it into a bowl and add 200g of powdered milk and blend until there are no lumps. Then add any nuts or other chosen additives.
- Put the ready mass into a flat mould and put it in the fridge. Wait for it to set, and then cut it into bars.
How to make chocolate without powdered milk?
Homemade chocolate lovers don’t always want to use powdered milk in their recipe. Although many chocolate connoisseurs believe that chocolate is not the same without it, it also has many followers, especially among vegans. How to make chocolate without powdered milk?
You will need:
- 1/2 a cup of coconut oil
- 1/2 a cup of cocoa
- 1/4 a cup of sugar
Preparation:
- Mix the cocoa with the sugar. Pour in the melted coconut oil and mix thoroughly until a smooth consistency is obtained.
- Put the mass into moulds, and then leave it in the freezer for 1 hour.
Before pouring the mass into the molds, you can add dried fruit or any other chosen additive.
