I bought the splitter less than a month ago, because together with my father-in-law we collected a lot of wood from the forest for the winter. Fast shipping and it arrived after 2 days. I was wondering whether this small device would be up to the challenge, because I had to cut really wide and tall logs, both fresh and last year, of various species of wood. That's why I chose the vertical version, because the largest logs fit there. I must admit that the effects exceeded expectations, this device cuts into the wood like butter. It doesn't matter if it's knotty and hard, it just splits everything. I would kill myself with an axe. And here there is no particular fatigue, the device is easy to use and can be adjusted to the size of the wood. I had so much fun splitting that I got burned in the sun fighting wood all day long. I finished the top of the tree in a few days. I really recommend!! At first I was thinking about the 400V version with 8t pressure, but this one really works without any problems.
