The beginner's slackline is 13 cm long, 5 cm wide and can hold a user weight of up to 150 kg. The total length is increased to around 15 m by a 2.40 m flat belt on the supplied ratchet. Shorter slacklines like this model swing less back and forth and are therefore particularly suitable for children and beginners. To minimise the risk of injury, the trickline should not be stretched higher than 50 cm above the softest possibly ground, such as lawn or sand.
The advantage of this wide slackline set for beginners: Wider lines can be stretched more tightly between the two attachment points. Because the strap stretches or slackens less, balancing becomes much easier. In addition, the user can stabilise their stance more easily from the ankle joint on a wide band.
The two tree protectors with Velcro fasteners not only increase the slackline's grip on trees, but also protect the trunk from injury and the slackline from damage and dirt.
